Upon completing his professional training at the prestigious Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, Dr. John Lewis returned to his hometown of Wichita to join the practice of friend and mentor Dr. Tonk Mills. He and his wife Wanda live in Andover; they have three adult children and an active German Shephard dog. Dr. Lewis enjoys traveling, Western landscape art, tent camping, and reading books on the topics of history and biography.
Dr. Paul Lewis feels blessed to be able to practice in his hometown of Wichita and to practice with his father, Dr. John Lewis. After completing his degree in Food Science at Kansas State University, Dr. Paul received his dental training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Lincoln, NE where he graduated with Highest Academic Distinction and was inducted by his professors into the national honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon designated for dental students graduating in the top 3% of their class.
Earning post-doctoral clinical training following dental school, Dr. Lewis was admitted by the University of Florida's School of Dentistry into one of the nation's most competitive advanced education residencies where he gained additional experience in oral surgery, the surgical placement of dental implants, endodontics (root canal therapy), Invisalign orthodontic tooth movement, and planning for complex dental treatments.
For relaxation, Dr. Lewis enjoys playing golf and traveling -- where one great memory is his summiting of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania (the highest mountain in Africa). Paul's two favorite foods are finely-roasted whole-bean home-brewed pour-over coffee...and visiting Costco for their $1.50 hot dogs.
